regrding embroidery charges

25 February 2010 one of my client is manufactreing of readymade garment he purchase the embroidery materials and giving embrodery material to jobworker and he is taking bill from the labour for pure labour so my question is that does it attract service tax and vat tds

please help me to solve this query

25 February 2010 As far as the Job work is converned then VAt rules are applicable for which there are specific provisions encumbered in the Act itself and in so far as the TDS is converned only job work if spcifically identified would be within the perview of the TDS structure........
