If a person is operating as an individual proprietor and involved in manufacturing and selling handbags through online portal, does he needs to register himself under shop and establishment act?

23 July 2012 ok. Could you please guide me with the process of doing so and the website wherein i can get all the details. The premises are located in Mumbai.

Also, would like to know that does a private limited company need to register under the shop and establishment act?
