i have just(nov'10) cleared my ipcc exams(both groups) so i have my few questions
1. my articleship duration 2. when my exam is due 3. can i appear in final exam before articleship completion 4. when should i register for final (last date so that i appear earliest)

Since you have cleared IPCC exams recently you should first register your articles under a CA Firm immediately. Pls cnfm that your OT and ITT have been completed. The next two questions will be answered by the institute's letter confirming your articles registration.

1. Articleship Duration You must undergo 3 years of practical training (articleship) under a practicing Chartered Accountant. 2. When is your Final Exam Due? You can appear for the CA Final exam after completing 8 months of articleship and passing both groups of IPCC. 3. Can you appear for Final before completing articleship? Yes, you can appear for the CA Final exam after completing 8 months of articleship, even if the full 3 years are not completed. 4. When should you register for Final to appear earliest? You can register for the Final exam anytime after passing both groups of IPCC. Ideally, register at least 4-6 months before the exam (for example, for Nov exams, register by May-June).
