05 April 2014 Can the registered office of the client and the registered office of an auditor be same?

Please refer any Section of Companies Act, if possible.

05 April 2014 in your scenario it is interested to know in what capacity the offices are shared (that is whether co-ownership, co-tenants or lessor-lessee)

It is important to know who is the owner of the premises as the owner has to give NOC for company formation, service tax and infact all registrations.

According to me you can form a company in auditor's premises. but i think afterwords he cannot be appointed as auditor as independence might be compromised
