Regarding the 154

15 February 2012 Dear sir,
I had filed the return online on behalf of my client. subsequently received the intimation u/s 143(1). there is demand for Rs. 450/- which is already paid as S.A.T. not considered while return finalized by the cpc Bangalore. please advice how to upload the 154 online at the earliest.whether manually copy of 26as to be sent to cpc Banglore?

16 February 2012 First of all ascertain why credit for self assessment tax was not allowed by CPC.

Maybe you filled wrong challan details or bank details. Alsoo check whether self assessment tax is appearing in Form 26AS.

Thereafter file an online rectification application.

The best way is only 26As ,The CPC depends on.see Deposited cheque/Amount reflects in 26 AS.again see & verify .No physical papers needed by CPC Bangalore.
