24 November 2010 For MVAT Registration, in case of Proprietory Concern, it is a must to have Profession Tax Enrolment Number (Known as PTE Number). If he does not have PTE, while uploading the Registration form you may write "Applied" and the same is allowed. When you go to the Sales Tax Department on the given date, first apply for PTE and then proceed for the registration under MVAT. Regarding your second query, as on date, there is a requirement of Current Account and you cannot give the details about your Personal Bank Account.
