Regarding HRA claim

18 December 2010 please note .
x has buy a home by taking loan of Rs.15 lacs
and give it to rent of Rs.5000/- per month. and he his-self staying at rented home and paying rent Rs.11000/-

now he filed his income tax return and he shown Rs.5000/- as income from house property.and claming HRA as wel as housing loan interest rebate of Rs.150000/- u/s 24 too.

the question is:
can x enjoy both HRA & Loan interest relief like that ?
