Can I file GSTR1 for the month of July 2017, then file GSTR3B for the month of August 2017

For GSTR 1 of July - last date is 10/10/2017, for GSTR 3B of Aug - Last date is 20/09/2017.

You can file both returns...
Also GSTR 1 is on or before 10th October...
But, GSTR 3B in August is 20th September...

Yes you can... But file 3B for august soon as penalty of Rs.200/- per day levied from 20Sept.....
