I am going to take Bajaj allinz for 30,000 per year, I am salaried person with gross 600000 per Annam.can it help as iwas told premium 80D exemption?

14 September 2009 it should be health policy i.e. Mediclaim Policy for the purpose of sec .80D.

The deduction available for individual is Rs. 20K per year in case of parents are Senior citizens then additional amount of 5K from A.Y. 09-10.
