Dear Experts,
I had earlier joined as partner in one of CA firms and taken full time COP. Now , I am interested to join Industry/Big4.
Can my full time COP be converted into part-time COP?
If so, what is the procedure?
Also, can the part-time COP be restored to full time COP after some time, in case of leaving the job and re-joining the same CA firm?

Yes, the status of COP can be changed from Full time to part time and vice-versa. For tha you just have to send a letter of intimation to the institute.

Thanks Mr. Utsav, but Form 101 is not required to be filed for restoration of full-time COP, or in other words conversion of the earlier so-converted part time COP into full time COP?

No, Form 101 is for those whose COP has been cancelled and wanted to restore it back.

The time is not mentioned. Since it is our duty to intimate, it should be done immediately on taking repective action.
