Ration variation

This query is : Resolved

16 October 2022 Sir, my query is if numerator= 1.5 & denominator= 3.4 how to calculate variation ratio percentage more 25% or not.

10 July 2024 To determine if the variation ratio percentage is more than 25% or not, follow these steps:

1. **Calculate the Variation Ratio:**
- The variation ratio is calculated as the ratio of the numerator to the denominator.

\[
\text{Variation Ratio} = \frac{\text{Numerator}}{\text{Denominator}} = \frac{1.5}{3.4}
\]

2. **Calculate the Variation Ratio Percentage:**
- Convert the variation ratio to a percentage by multiplying by 100%.

\[
\text{Variation Ratio Percentage} = \left( \frac{1.5}{3.4} \right) \times 100\%
\]

3. **Compare with 25%:**
- Determine if the variation ratio percentage is more than 25% or not.

Let's perform the calculations step-by-step:

### Calculation:

1. **Variation Ratio:**
\[
\text{Variation Ratio} = \frac{1.5}{3.4} \approx 0.4412
\]

2. **Variation Ratio Percentage:**
\[
\text{Variation Ratio Percentage} = 0.4412 \times 100\% = 44.12\%
\]

### Conclusion:

- The variation ratio percentage is \( 44.12\% \).
- Since \( 44.12\% \) is more than \( 25\% \), the variation ratio percentage is indeed more than 25%.

Therefore, based on the given numerator (1.5) and denominator (3.4), the variation ratio percentage is more than 25%.
