26 February 2017 I am 23 years old. I passed cpt and ipcc in first attempt. I also completed my articleship in 2015. My first attempt was due in may 2015. I have not cleared even a single subject since then...leave group.. both groups are pending. I have given four attempts but all in vain. I want to change my direction.. i am not interested in this course any more.. What are the other career options other than ca, cwa.. where the exam is not luck based and hard work is rewarded.. also that i can settle down.. I have no clue.. what to do..I am tired of hearing " Give one try" Never give up"..." You are one step away from success" bla bla.. I think.. if I give my efforts in some other direction.. then I would get better results...Please guide me.. I am also doing job in some small ca firm.. I also want to earn and learn.. No option.. because already some part of life is wasted in this journey..

27 February 2017 Dear dear friend, I would have told you to quit CA and seek other career options if you were, say 28 or 30 years old. Since you are just 23, you haven't lost anything in life.
I too believe that passing CA requires a little bit of luck and that things don't always go the way you want them to. Moreover, its not the number of attempts that matter, its the knowledge one possesses that matter.
So you must not give in to negative thoughts but rather find where your weaknesses are and improve them.
Try obtaining certified copies of your previous attempt and check where you lost marks.
And prepare from Institute materials, which is a lesson I learnt while I gave my exams.
All the best.

27 February 2017 Sir, this is not the solution.. I have obtained my papers.. all answers are correct... I have no clue.. i can't try more.. I am not at fault.. i am doing my work.. we can't depend on luck... number of attempts do matter..and how many times should i try... even when i am not at fault... For luck I can't do anything.. But I don't want to demotivate myself.. I have also lost conficence in myself.. I am regretting my decision of selecting ca as career... and will regret even " IF I Pass" I am not sure.. whether i will give further attempts.. I have lost my interest to be frank

02 March 2017 We can only empathise with the motions which you are going through in your life presently. When the sea is calm no one is bothered, but when it is ferocious we all know what damage it can do to us. It is natural to feel agitated when some one is trying to give you a soothing balm and your mind is not ready to accept that person's wisdom and experience. Fair point, because you seem to be terribly hurt and upset with what ever has happened in your CA FINAL FRONTIER till date.

We are not going to blind fold you by our thoughts or view but underline that there are many options before you to explore. The scar of last few years for having done your CA can never vanish from your life and some day that may haunt you for being less circumspect of your Long term career. Failures are a blip in a CA's life, but it can brighten your ambition only if one had the patience and perseverance to weather the storm. For some one who has never seen failure in his or her life, it is quite natural to be perturbed and anguished, but truth is a bitter pill one has to swallow. Not here for a moment trying to give you that bla bla which you seem to discredit it.

Introspect with a cool mind as to what is the best thing which you intend to do. You can never turn the clock backwards and the last few years will never spare you through out your life for having aborted your mission. It is easy to say "I QUIT" and forget what has happened in the immediate past.

There are abundant options to EXPLORE before that just in a cool and serene frame of mind, INTROSPECT your past mistakes and how to overcome this torpedo in your life.

Wish you all the best for your career prospects.

04 March 2017 Dear Sathish M,

What will I get by keeping patience? When all ca's are not getting job? What is so special in this course.. its all fake.. there is no rocket science in it.. See i have not filled the exam form for May 2017.. I am very determined that I have to do something different. Regarding past years.. I only have a feeling that i have wasted my few years in this ca course.. bas thats it.. and don't want to waste my future in this so called " CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY COURSE" which is nothing but waste of time..Why every ca is not a billionare if he/she is so rare? Why the world is not crazy if ca is such a respected course? Then why this bluffing? See, I see 90% negative in this course... I will regret for the years that I have wasted in this course.. till I die... I had interest in technical field.. but i regret my decision of chosing this course.. and I am very determined that I have to do something different..
