QUESTION OF LAW-: WHETHER SUBSIDY RECEIVED FROM GOVT REVENUE RECEIPT OR CAPITAL RECEIPT...IT IS QUESTION OF LAW DECIDED BY COURT

17 October 2011 Question of law: It involves interpretation of law.. Eg. Whether an expenditure is revenue or capital..

Question of fact:It involves determination of facts.. It requires some kind of investigation.. Eg. whether expenditure is genuine or not


31 August 2016 Question of law is more general in nature and are to be answered by reference to Legal principles and interpretation of law.
Question of facts are case specific and are to be answered by reference to facts or evidence in that particular case.
