21 June 2016 Dear All, Is interest received from amount deposited under National Savings Scheme exempt or taxable? Also state the tax implications in case of principal + interest received at the time of maturity. Please assist.

21 June 2016 interest will include in the income and after that its come under 80C for all years , only last year(maturity year) there will come under income from other sources.
