21 August 2013 For the purpose of calculation of Assessable value, the installation charges is not considered in the value of asset purchased. Why? (eventhough this cost is directly related to the cost of the asset)

21 August 2013 Basically Excise will apply on the manufacturing or producing exciseable goods in India. installation is not forming part of product price.
