27 November 2013 Sir, What is the procedure of opening a PPF A/c and what is the minimum limit of depositing amount and it is compulsory to deposit every month fixed amount. Thanks in Advance.

28 November 2013 You can open in any nationalised or even private bank PPF A/c There is no compulsion for every month deposit but yes in a calender minimum 500 has to be deposited to keep the account active. The current limit in a year is 100,000. Which you can deposit in one go or multiple deposits.
