I have changed my job in May 2009 and withdraw my Provident Fund from my previous company where i have completed 4 years of service. The provident fund was managed under trust of the company. The withrwal was taxed @ 30%. If i consider the same this is substantial amount for me. Is there any way i could save my tax or get any relief.

I have received form-16 for the same.

06 May 2010 the trust must have already deducted TDS on the PF withdrawl. There is no way to get any tax relief now as form 16 has also been issued for the same.
