18 October 2014 Query- assessee sold property at value less than 50c value(Stamp Value). this is genuine transaction and therefore he is unwilling to pay capital gain tax at market value. the case is under scrutiny. pls suggest. Its Urgent.

18 October 2014 you need to request AO to get the valuation done from official officer. unless valuation suggest that the actual market price was below the stamp duty valuation, you got to pay the capital gains on stamp duty value.
