06 September 2017 What is the definition of salary for Professional Tax?
PT shall be levied on gross salary or basic salary?
Shall overtime be considered in the definition of Salary?

06 September 2017 It is levied on payment basis. ....... it is levied on monthly basis......say for example on 1st salary is paid and on 7th overtime is paid.....the professional tax is to be deducted considering both.....payment on 1st and 7th.....(Maharashtra Professional Tax).....which state you are in?
