07 November 2011 Can anybody let me know various communication(through letters) which are made between auditor & client before and after commencement of FIRST AUDIT.--SHOULD BE IN A SEQUENCE

18 November 2011 The sequence is as follows-

1. Client sends letter asking a confirmation that, if appointed by the client, the appointment will be within the limits of section 224(1)(B)

2. Firm sends the reply to client

3. Client holds AGM in which appoints the firm as auditors

4. Client sents the appointment letter to the firm within 30 days form the AGM

5. Firm replies with acceptance/non-acceptance of the appointment within 30 days from the receipt of the appointment letter

6. Firm files the Form 23B online within 30 days of the receipt of the appointment letter.

20 November 2011 Thanks for the answer. But what are the various other communication which are transmitted AFTER APPOINTMENT & commencement of FIRST AUDIT (i.e. when audit is going on) assignment for a firm.
