Dear Experts, One of my client(partnership firm), and they are willing convert their firm into a private limited. From the practical point of view it is good to convert the existing firm into pvt ltd or dissolving the existing firm and form a new pvt ltd. If converts the existing firm into pvt ltd then the PAN of the firm will work or firm has to obtain new PAN. Please advise me.

With change of status, you should go for new PAN for company. Current PAN will have 4th character as 'F', it should be taken as 'C' for company
