17 September 2012 We are providing printing services of books, where we charge 15% amount as ink cost and 85% as job charges. On ink cost we charge vat at the applicable rate, we want to know liability of service tax in this case for the F.Y. 12-13 (Please mention effective date and link). If service tax is applicable, then please mention on what extent it will be applicable (on 85% value or 100% value, Please mention link for the same)

If You are Raising Separate Invoice for Ink cost, Then Chargeable on 85% Amount.i.e Only on Job Charges.

and If You Doin Mixed Up in Single Bill Then on Whole amt ST is chargeable.
& No Abatement is Available as Per My Knowledge in Your Case.
