Most Imp.: Don’t write your answer in paragraphs. Try and mention it in point wise details with relevant section and case laws.
Corporate Law : 1. Quote Sections (If you are 100% sure) 2. TO the point answer, do not elaborate unnecessarily to increase the length of your answer. 3. For Case Studies Quote the case laws & sections. 4. Coverage of Paper is most important thing.
Auditing : 1. Give Reference of AS's & AAS's for practical problems to secure good marks. 2. Coverage of Paper is most important thing. 3. Try and convert the paragraphs in to points and give them a heading.

3. AAS have now become SA.
4. Command over English is necessary.
5. Fluency is required.

What I mean to say - Perform as if you are a Qualified Chartered Accountant !
For example -
Question asked is - What is difference between Statutory Audit and Internal Audit.
Here you can improve your answer if you read CA Journal and other Magazines regularly.
Everyone will write correctly about this question because it is a general one.
But if you know much better than others; you can include in your answer as under -
In India statutory auditor's independence is questionable many a time. Now-a-days; private sectors' size is at par with PSU but; PSU is covered under empanelment of audits with CAG whereas private sector is altogether free from this formality.
Secondly; write that the internal audit is not yet recognized as a reputed professional work in India whereas in US there is a separate institute formed for the purpose since many years.
Many times CA students say that we performed properly in the examination but marks are poor.
They forget that the examiners are top category persons. Many times Law copies are examined by High Court Judges.
That is why students say there is very poor marking in Law subject.
The above "LAW MATTER" is being discussed in one of the "forum" of "caclubindia" right now.
