Articleship is done under a practicing chartered accountant for a period of 3.5 years. There you get to know how practicing ca works. But due to articleship the student wont get industrial exposure. For that purpose system of industrial training was introduced.Under IT you can undergo training in a company which has a chartered accountant employed with it.This can be done during the last 1 year of your articleship tenure. This is meant to provide you with exposure in the industry as how do a chartered accountant works in industry.
at present Im working in a Multinational manufacturing Industry under a CA from the last 2 Yrs.
According to the (new scheme) IPCC i have to under go 3 Yrs of Article ship after completion IPCC 1st GP.So can I take exemption for industrial Training as i already have 2 yrs of Industrial Experience and complete remaining 2 yrs of Article ship
or
after IPCC 1st GP shall i register for Industrial Training first instead of article ship and after Industrial Training of 1yr, i'll resign my job and register for article ship.
The main reasons for asking this clarification is becoz i hav completed CWA Inter and hav to appear for final which requires 3yrs of Experience so i can avail exemption if i work upto june 2010.
So Im waiting for an option which is helpful to complete both the courses by saving time.
Pls analyse my case and tell me any of these options will works out or not.. or is there any other option.
