18 January 2011 Hi,
I have resigned from an organization after serving for more than 5 years. I want to withdraw my PF.
Can you plz let me know, what is the process of withdrawing PF now and will it attract any tax.

18 January 2011 No tax....

Withdrawal :
Fill form 10C & 19 & get them signed by your previous employer.

Then you can submit these forms to PF office.

You will get the amount in 2-3 months.

18 January 2011 But, 10C form is for pension scheme. I just need to withdraw my PF amount. Still, 10C form is required.

24 February 2011 before 10 year of continued PF account, you are not eligible for pension.

So you have to withdraw the amount lying in your pension fund too.
