Please clarify that the powers of Tribunal under section 101 of companies act 1956 are exercised by CLB or High Court. Kindly provide the supporting circular if any.

23 December 2014 After passing the special resolution for the reduction of capital, the company is required to apply to the Court by way of petition for the confirmation of the resolution under Section 101 Companies Act 1956.
