03 August 2010 Is conveyance allowance/facility given by the employer to the employer for private use of employee & his family members is fully taxable & is treated as a perquisite u/s 17?

Is allowance for books of school children of employee is covered under education allowance & thereby is it eligible for deduction for Rs100pm per child?

Children education allowance Rs.100 per child will cover books also, so you can take the same
