Sir,
01. One of the advocate suggested our HR Manager to calculate the salary on the number of days as per the month(Feb - 28, then 30, and 31) But as per my knowledge, as per rule, we have to take 26days for calculation.
02. HRA - If i work for 10 days, then what will be the HRA if I am eligible for HRA Rs.6000/- a month?
Pleas advice me in the above regarding.

Salary is always calculated on the basis of 26 days. Only for Gratuity under any other cases (unregistered)it is taken as 30 days.

For gratuity also, the salary calculation is for 26 days only and not thirty days.

It will not change STATE wise ? As the Consultant says that, its the way to calculate in Karnataka.

No change as Income Tax Act is applicable all over India.

Gratutitu for Gratuity Act is 26 days and not all. Others (unregistered) is 30 days.
