13 December 2012 Whether a company can make a payment exceeding Rs 20,000 by cash? As per section 40(3)- No. Then the company can make payment exceeding Rs 20,000 for capital transaction by cash? please resolve by confusion in payment exceeding Rs 20,000..

13 December 2012 Cash payment can be made for purchase of fixed assets and depreciation wont be disallowed.

But in other cases exps will be disallowed.
