25 September 2011 can anyone clarify that service tax is payable on reciept basis or accrual basis.. and is it applicable for nov 2011 ipcc exams..please provide detailed information

25 September 2011 On receipt basis yes it is applicable for nov'11 ipcc exams it covers 25 marks at the taxation paper.
