06 May 2009 payment of service tax applicable to sub-contractor? Means all my client vehicles sent to company for hire, company charging service tax on their bills, shall we charges service tax on companies? We are not raising any bills to company, company will pay lum-sum amount to us, Kindly guide me.

07 May 2009 NO GTA, All trucks handle by company like xps--ete . They collecting service tax on ther bills.

25 May 2009 My client having 8 trucks hired to company. Compnay paying every month hire charges after deducting TDS @ 1%. We are not raising any bill to company, we are not collcting any service tax on our bills. The company collecting service tax on ther bills paying.
