Numbering of sales invoice

25 September 2012 Dear Friend,

i want to know what the actual practice of release sale invoice. my co working project in different location and the management suggest me to release the sale invoice in different project wise. i think its wrong as per sales tax department. so please suggest me right practice.

25 September 2012 under permission from vat office, you can issue provisional receipts project wise, but final invoice should be raised by registered office only

alternate

you have to register all such sites in vat, and maintain site-wise invoice system.
