05 February 2016 Please try my ATLAS Technique in this regard:

ATLAS STUDY METHOD FOR QUICK REVISION (JUST BEFORE EXAM)

ATLAS STANDS FOR “AT LAST”. There are always some questions, formulas, Sections and case laws which we simply fail to recall in exam hall. According to this method if you find anything very difficult to remember then after preparing the same topic once or twice put it in the ATLAS. Keep putting difficult topics in ATLAS till exam date.

There would be a different ATLAS for law, audit, accounts etc. Now 1.5 TO 2 hour before leaving your home for examination hall, open ATLAS question list and revise it properly or give it a special reading. Now if you find any question from ATLAS in the exam paper it would be very easy for you to answer as you specially revise it just 2-3 hours back and your confidence level will automatically increase in the beginning of exam. What say???

Keep review your ATLAS list and modify it accordingly. If initially you put any question in ATLAS and now you are confident enough about that particular question you can remove that question from ATLAS. Don’t put easy and non important questions in ATLAS as this concept is for revising extra-ordinary important questions just 2-3 hours before examination.

This method is developed and named by me and is extremely helpful for fetching good marks. If you need any help understanding this method please let me know.

Thanks & Regards

05 February 2016 Do not take too much tension in this regard as this is a common problem with most of us. All you need to do is just focus on conceptual study. Try to understand the topic.

To increase your recalling power you are advised to discuss topics within your friend circle. This will help you to recall in a better way.

Thanks

05 February 2016 Useful Memory Improvement Tips

Dear Students,

You may use some simple memory improvement tips given below before starting your preparation for next exam due in May and June 2014. Sincerely hoping that these tips would be off some help to enhance your “Recalling power” and improve your information/content retention power.

1. First and most important point to improve your memory is focus on conceptual study. Conceptual study will help you to recall the topic easily because base of the topic will be strong. If you simple use “ratta” method then you are bound to forget the content in pressure situation.

2. Another suggestion would be to focus on regular study and say bye bye to cramming.

3. Prepare short notes (single page) and paste them in your room (preferably on wall). Now you can refer them easily again and again. This is a very helpful technique to put tuff topics on your tips.

4. First make a study plan and follow the same honestly on regular basis. This will help you to focus on a particular topic. Study according to your plan without fail. If you study lots of different topic without planning in a day then there may be chances of failure.

5. Use abbreviation method. If you have 10 points to remember in a question give them a certain abbreviation and remember that abbreviation. See the example below:

In section 293 of Companies Act, 1956 there are 5 clauses from (a) to (e). My abbreviation to remember these 5 clauses is “SRIBC”. S=Sell/R=Remit/I=Invest/B=Borrow/C=Contribute. Have a look at Section-293 and verify yourself.

6. Have a one hour group discussion with your friends regarding selected exam oriented important topic on regular basis. Discuss all the theoretical and practical aspects about that selected topic. This is also a very useful technique to improve your recalling power.

7. Try and workout on your recalling power. You may do Yoga and other brain relaxation techniques to improve your memory.

8. Good revision is key to success. So prepare a realistic revision plan and follow the same honestly as the same can be very useful in improving your memory during exam time. Further stay away from unnecessary exam stress.
