Based on the information provided by ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), here’s how you can proceed with converting from PCC (Professional Competence Course) to IPCC (Integrated Professional Competence Course) and when you can appear for your IPCC exams:
1. **Conversion from PCC to IPCC:** - You have completed your Articleship on 27th January 2011. - You convert to IPCC on 15th February 2011.
2. **IPCC Examination Eligibility:** - According to ICAI, you can appear for the IPCC examination in the ensuing attempt after your conversion to IPCC and filling the examination form. - This means if you convert to IPCC and fill the examination form in time for the May 2011 attempt, you can appear for the IPCC exams in May 2011.
3. **Filling Examination Form:** - You do not necessarily need to wait for the registration letter of IPCC to fill the examination form for the May 2011 attempt. - First, apply for conversion to IPCC. - Once converted, proceed to fill up the examination form for the May 2011 IPCC exams.
4. **Study Course Period:** - There is a requirement of a nine-month study course period in IPCC before appearing for the exams, as per the Announcement dated February 5, 2010. - Since you are converting in February 2011, you would need to complete this nine-month study period to be eligible for the IPCC exams.
5. **Exemption Period:** - You may be exempted from this nine-month study period requirement based on having completed nine months after joining the Professional Competence Course (PCC).
### Summary:
- **Conversion Date:** 15th February 2011 - **Exams Eligibility:** May 2011 IPCC exams, provided you complete the necessary formalities such as conversion and filling of the examination form in time. - **Study Period:** Ensure you meet the nine-month study course period requirement or check if you are exempted based on your previous course duration.
It's advisable to contact ICAI or visit their official website for the most accurate and updated information regarding conversions, eligibility criteria, and examination procedures. Good luck with your IPCC exams!
