09 February 2009 I came to know that, like companies bill 2008 to replace the existing Companies Act 1956, Income Tax bill 2008 is introduced to replace the Income Tax 1961, in the parliament.

1)Whether is there any such type of proposal?
2) Whether the said Act actually introced in the parliament or not

3) if Introduced when will it applies
