03 August 2016 complete name is Bimal Kumar Sharma (first, middle, last name). One C.A. applied for my pan card 12 years beck, do not have any idea about proof subimitted for sir name, cause i have none.
i wish to change my name in pan card from Bimal Sharma to Bimal kumar
all my document (educational document like mark-sheet,Degree, Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID ) has name as Bimal Kumar (first, last name). I have no proof of name as Bimal Sharma.
is there any possibility or process which do not involves newspaper advt. or gazette notification and can be done

03 August 2016 You can apply for the rectification of name in your PAN on the NSDL website
https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/changerequest.html

It does not require you to publish advertisement in newspaper if you have the supporting documents already.

Bimal _Kumar ............. -Name in each & every Documents i have (School Certi, Govt Issued, Bank etc)

In Respect of the name on Pan Card, No proof of document exist, since filed 7 years beck and No ideas how one unknown CA made it, during that time the document rules were not strict. Must have taken from my father's sir name (Sharma). I have no document which states my name as Bimal Sharma

Now the problem is I need to change my PAN Name (Bimal Sharma) to Bimal Kumar as i have in my all documents (such as 10th and 12th class certificate, Degree, Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Ration Card, Institute ID Card, Bank Account Name.. etc

One CA office i went today me, after application it will come with objection since there is difference in pan Name and all Documents Name. then you need to do the needful to change the Name require process of doing affidavit, news advt. and Gazette Publication and then getting the certificate from gazetted office, which will be submitted back for Pan application proof submission.

I request is such process is needed or not. what are the other option since CA told 90% chance the above condition will happen. what are my chances or scenario

Do I Literally need to undergo lengthy process just to change my Pan name similar to my documents name
OR
it will be as correction of Pan name accordingly to existing document names.

04 August 2016 As far I understand, your name in all the documents is Bimal Kumar and you want to change your PAN card also to Bimal Kumar. So there is no need for you to produce any document for the name wrongly mentioned (Bimal Kumar Sharma).The fact that it is wrong is why the correction is being made. Hence you need not worry. Just apply for correction in the name along with the document proof as required by NSDL.
