I got my Form16 yesterday, but i am NOT able to find TDS details on TIN NSDL (Form 26AS - TRACES) Website. Whether can i submit my IT Returns now? (or) i have to wait till it appears on Traces Website?

It was the duty of the deductor to provide the TDS certificate to the taxpayer, to enable him to claim credit for the TDS so deducted. The I-T Act has the necessary provisions to levy and recover interest from the company for the period the TDS was deducted but not deposited in the government account. It could also levy a penalty and the company was liable to punishment under the Act.
if he defaults you can file your ITR claiming tds deducted as per your payslips/form16

Thanks, it was very helpful. In my scenario, they have paid the tax to the government, i am able to verify that, but they have not uploaded form24, so that it reflects on my TDS as salary. Am i Right?
