22 October 2010 In a company there was a share holder from whom the has been transfered to another company on 28.08.2010. The main company is alloting shares in March 2010 to the company whose share has been thansfered on 28/08/2009. What shold be its folio. The old one or a new one

24 October 2010 The proposed aloottee company was once a shareholder. If that company has sold all the shares that time, its folio was closed.
So pl gv it a new folio.

moreso, if it would hav been a listed company, it is very difficult to trace old folios n thn assign new shares to that folio. Right?
