01 May 2011 Can employee claim deduction for medical bill expenses paid by him in his Form 16. If yes than on what basis?

01 May 2011 No he can not claim medical bill claim paid by him in his form 16, he can claim on insurance premium amount.

He can submit his medical expenses bill to his company and upto Rs. 15000/- will be tax free in your hand.
