08 April 2013 Hi, I need a clarification on LTA Payment.

1) Whether LTA can be paid on monthly basis?
2) If yes, how the tax treatment in the hands of employees and any ciruclar reference or case laws?

26 July 2013 Incase LTA paid monthly basis and the proofs are submitted by the year end there is no tax. otherwise LTA is taxable as paid basis.
