Dear I feel, 1st you need to set a goal and then the roadmap my suggestion will be as the exams are over head, dont think too much about this. 1st clear your xam, you will get enough time to think over this crucial decision. I was saying that there must be a goal and then the roadmap. 1st choose what you wanna do in future i.e, in long term, PRACTICE OR JOB. when goal is practice: Roadmap - you must a join a good ca firm with lots of workload over you and where you have to handle lots of responsibilities. as for your own firm you need a lot of experience of managing work, clients, staff and articles. keep learning till the time you find that you have learned enough to have your own practice and you can manage everything on your own, you have your own repu in market, people know you by your name. when goal is job in corporate sector ,roadmap - concentrate your studies, try to clear your exams at one go(these days its becoming a fashion in corporate world to hire those who are academically very sound as being fresher they cant expect experience). then when you want to join a big companies or firms. start giving interviews, try to have big references (indirectly a big requirement these days) be patient, even if rejected from 1 place try another, there are plenty of big companies in the world. try to start with a higher package at your first job.
The main thing is we should select the way as per our destination, according to me, one should not waste time to go somewhere and returning back to get what he wants. so 1st decide your interest, as these days people get bore very soon of one thing, your interest keeps you going. then select the required roadmap. some times it happens that after a lot of efforts freshers don't get the job, for them don't loose hope and keep trying, and for the time being they can join a ca firm. but this is not the case for everyone.
these are my views, as i have recently cleared in nov attempt and seen a lot of my friends confused and going on diff ways. thoughts of other experts may differ.
but again I must say: concentrate on your studies for now.

Agree with the detailed reply of Expert. For me also you should focus on your present studies. After getting the membership you can join some CA firm on salary and learn various things as an employee of that firm. You should also work upon your future vision. I mean what you want to do in future practice or job.

Thank you experts. I donot want to go for practice. I want to go for employment. Please tell me whether this lack of exposure will be a problem after i get into employment, because after joining in a company, if i donot know to do any hob there, what will be my position? Please tell me whether with this low level of experience, will i be able to prove myself to my boss and contribute efficiently to the company in which i will join.

dear, every one keeps learning with the time, if you wanna go in job. then, i must say follow your dreams , not just by doing job but doing the job you like. many of us wants to join a good company but don't bother about the work and profile. what they care is big name and money, but once the name and money are with them, later on they suddenly find themselves on a wrong track. so if you wanna go in job i would like to suggest you that go for the field which you like, which could come out as your passion. if still you dont know that what work will suit you, do work at some small level company or ca firm and find what's your passion and will suit you for long term. once you got what you have to do, then select the companies(opportunities) where you can get best of that passion. that will be your goal. to get in there do all the possible things. if it need tax experience, go for tax. if it need audit experience, get it. so i just want to say find your passion that what kind of job and then make the road map accordingly.
dear experience is not only thing you need there, you need a lot to survive in corporate and all this you will learn with time. you wont get only one chance to prove yourself, you get will many of them. dont worry about the less experience thing, your 1st goal must be to get in that company which will help you to follow your passion. once you are in the game you will learn the rules self. these days companies provides good training to freshers. Many of my friends (recently cleared/freshers) are doing the work they never studied or done before, but they are finding themselves good at that. we are ca dude, we learn as fast as light speed. all the best and concentrate on your studies, as i said earlier after xams you will get enough time to think over it.
