02 July 2012 Pl let me know, whether Noida being part of NCR and in vicinity of Delhi, will be eligible city for the purpose of claiming 50% exemption in HRA?

02 July 2012 You will be eligiable for claiming 50% exemption in HRA if you paing the rent in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkatta,

Hence, if you are paying the rent in Noida then calim exemption 40%.
