what is the limit for central excise for ssi unit? how to apply for this ? pls explain briefly ?

11 September 2011 The limit of ssi in central excise is RS. 1.50 Crore.

The meaning of ssi unit is that unit whose turnover does not exceeds rs. 4.00 crore during the previous financial year.
