i have filed the return of income for the a.y 2009-10 and claimed the refund of RS 17900/-. But I have received refund of RS 13432/- which was less then claimed. I had attached the TDS forms 16A alongwith return. What should I do now.

file an application for rectification u/s 154 with all facts and detail of TDS and calculation of balance refund amount. there may be some TDS which have not been received by deptt. in its system. TDS certificates were not required to be attached with the return for the AY 2009-10, the same might have been misplaced in the deptt. get the facts from the ward.
