Legal Heirship Certificate is issued by Thasildhar or similar Revenue official of the State Govt. They have a standard pre-printed format for this, in which alone, the said official will issue. The certificate will state that xxxxxxx and yyyyy are the legal heirs of the deceased xxxxxxxxxxxxxx who expired on xxxxxxx.
