09 November 2014 What if an employee did not avail the benefit of LTA during the block of 4yrs? Whether it will be added in the salary of the employee in the last year of that block and tax is payable on that amount? Please advise.

10 November 2014 yes. if the LTA is not availed, any payment made towards the same to employee will be added to his/her taxable income.

11 November 2014 Thanks bt I have seen a case where it is added in the salary thts why I m asking this question. And nothing is received by the employee in respect of same.
