09 March 2009 I need a clarification with respect to leave during articleship under ca final old syllabus? Is it 1/6 or 1/7 of actual period served. And what does actual period served means. Is it the period of 3 years of articleship or period of articleship less leave taken?

09 March 2009 no. of leaves available is dependent on no. of leaves you take... i will just explain the calculation by a eg....
if the period is 3 years...which means 365*3=1095days
suppose you have taken total 120 leave...
than leaves available to u is...1095-120=975
than 975/6=162.5
so leave available to you is 162...
