Late payment of tds

24 May 2012 for example payment dt. 15.4.2012, due date for tds payment 7.05.2012 but actual payment date of TDS is 15.07.2012.

my question is, "what is the delay period?"

1) 4 month i.e. 15 Apr 2012 to 15 July 2012

2) 3 month i.e. 07 May 2012 to 15 July 2012

in the case of delay payment of tds..month will be counted from month in which bill is a/c for...
