Last date for annual filing of LLP for 8 and 11

This query is : Resolved

25 July 2022 Dear Friends,
I am little bit confused I have the following LLP forms pending for filing

Form No FY

8 (Form of Financial Statement/solvency) 2021-21 & 2021-22
11(Annual Return 2020-21 & 2021-22

what is the last date for filing of these forms without additional fee for both 2020-21 & 2021-22.
Is there any issue like form 8 or 11 still under revision and new form/s not released by MCA.

Thanks
P.C. Joshi

09 July 2024 As of my last update, here are the details regarding the filing of LLP forms 8 and 11 for the financial years 2020-21 and 2021-22:

1. **Form 8 (Statement of Account & Solvency):**
- **Last Date for Filing without Additional Fee:** Normally, the due date for filing Form 8 is 30th October of the following financial year. This means:
- For FY 2020-21, the Form 8 was due to be filed by 30th October 2021.
- For FY 2021-22, the Form 8 is due to be filed by 30th October 2022.
- If filed after these dates but within 30th November, there might be a late fee, which is progressive based on the number of days of delay.

2. **Form 11 (Annual Return):**
- **Last Date for Filing without Additional Fee:** The due date for filing Form 11 is 30th May of the next financial year. This means:
- For FY 2020-21, Form 11 was due to be filed by 30th May 2022.
- For FY 2021-22, Form 11 is due to be filed by 30th May 2023.
- Similar to Form 8, late filing beyond the due date but within 30th June will attract a late fee.

Regarding any revisions or updates to these forms by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA):
- The forms are periodically revised or updated by the MCA to reflect changes in requirements or to improve reporting standards.
- It's important to check the latest notifications and updates on the MCA website or through professional updates to ensure you are using the correct and updated forms for filing.

If you have specific concerns about revisions or updates to Form 8 or Form 11, checking with a professional such as a Company Secretary or Chartered Accountant who is well-versed with current regulations and filings under the LLP Act would be advisable. They can provide you with the most accurate guidance based on the latest information available.
