ITR Filing - Deceased Assessee

22 May 2011 My Grandmother expired in the month of March 11. She has got a Refund this year? In whose name should the ITR be filed, in the name of the Deceased assessee or the Legal representative of the Deceased assessee? Can I quote my Bank a/c details in the ITR to claim the refund?

Please guide.

22 May 2011 in such a situation return will be filed by the leagal representative which may be your father as representative of ur grand mother

22 May 2011 Actually My father has no Brother (ie. My uncle) but he has two sisters (ie. my aunts). One stays in Nagpur and the other in USA.
